Be a Pirate 02:22
Do you want to be a pirate? Do you want to sail the ocean blue? I think you'll really like it if you try it Come with me and be a pirate too! Let's all work the ship together Hoist the sails and anchors away! Then set off on an adventure Won't be back for many a day Do you want to be a pirate? Do you want to sail the ocean blue? I think you'll really like it if you try it Come with me and be a pirate too! Let's set sail across the ocean Where the stormy winds do blow With a map that leads to treasure Telling us which way to go Do you want to be a pirate? Do you want to sail the ocean blue? I think you'll really like it if you try it Come with me and be a pirate too! Let's sail to the Caribbean To an island far away Where the sun is always shining And the dolphins like to play Do you want to be a pirate? Do you want to sail the ocean blue? I think you'll really like it if you try it Come with me and be a pirate too! Now we've landed on an island Looking for a treasure chest Dig it up then split the plunder That's what pirates do the best! Do you want to be a pirate? Do you want to sail the ocean blue? I think you'll really like it if you try it Come with me and be a pirate too! Do you want to be a pirate? Do you want to sail the ocean blue? I think you'll really like it if you try it Come with me and be a pirate too! Come with me and be a pirate too! Come with me and be a pirate too!

The sky grew dim as the clouds rolled in, The ocean waves grew tall We turned our eyes up to the skies As the rain began to fall We slipped and slid across the deck We didn't know what to do We had never sailed in a storm before Would we wreck or make it through? So look alive, all hands on deck, Haul the sheets in tight! No one knows if we'll survive On a dark and stormy night! The lightning flashed and the thunder crashed The gusts came with such force Our tiny ship was tossed so hard She was soon blown clear off course The night wind howled with a thousand voices Of sailors who'd come before Wailing tales of their demise Now they lie on the ocean floor So look alive, all hands on deck, Haul the sheets in tight! No one knows if we'll survive On a dark and stormy night! We fought that storm the whole night through Soaked right down to our bones But we could not stop, for if we gave up We'd be sent down to Davy Jones When morning dawned, the rain was no more The sun was a glorious sight We had washed up on a sandy shore No more dark and stormy night! But look alive, all hands on deck, Haul the sheets in tight! No one knows if we'll survive On a dark and stormy night! Yes look alive, all hands on deck, Haul the sheets in tight! No one knows if we'll survive On a dark and stormy night!

Once I met a pirate, a sailor proud and free He told me stories of just how glorious pirate life could be So I signed aboard his pirate crew and sailed away to sea Where I learned a pirate life is not the life for me The morning when I first awoke, he handed me a mop And ordered me to swab the deck, all day I couldn't stop I never heard that pirates were supposed to clean the floor And I don't think I wanna be a pirate anymore No I don't really wanna be a pirate anymore I thought it was the life for me, but now I'm not so sure So turn your ship around, me boys, and take me back to shore 'Cause I don't really wanna be a pirate anymore! I thought I'd find adventure in a foreign port of call But soon we hit the doldrums and we didn't move at all So pump me boys and row me boys, the bosun he did shout Well, if that's the life of piracy, then you can count me out! But then at last the day came when they handed me a map X marks the spot to treasure, we'd find it in a snap But it turns out it's a lot of work to navigate by star And I don't think I wanna be a pirate anymore No I don't really wanna be a pirate anymore I thought it was the life for me, but now I'm not so sure So turn your ship around, me boys, and take me back to shore 'Cause I don't really wanna be a pirate anymore! We landed on an island where the treasure could be found We followed the instructions, started digging in the ground But the hole we dug was empty, no chest of gold or jewels Were we clever pirates, or just a ship of fools? But then the mate exclaimed, me hearties, look at what I've got! We must have read the map wrong, X marks a different spot We dug again and this time we found gold and jewels galore! And now I think I wanna be a pirate ever more! Yes now I really wanna be a pirate ever more It really is the life for me if treasure lies in store So turn your ship around, me boys, let's find a different shore 'Cause now I really wanna be a pirate ever more Yes now I really wanna be a pirate ever more It really is the life for me if treasure lies in store So turn your ship around, me boys, let's find a different shore 'Cause now I really wanna be a pirate ever more Yes now I really wanna be a pirate ever more - yo ho!

Our adventure's at an end We came as strangers, we'll leave as friends We've had fun, but now we're done So sail away, sail away home Sail away home, sail away home Our time has ended, no more shall we roam Night is falling, dreams are calling To sail away, sail away home We've shared laughter, we've shared song We've shared friendship, all day long Though we must part, you'll stay in my heart As we sail away, sail away home Sail away home, sail away home Our time has ended, no more shall we roam Night is falling, dreams are calling To sail away, sail away home Every journey comes to a close What comes next, no one knows We'll meet again, so until then We must sail away, sail away home Sail away home, sail away home Our time has ended, no more shall we roam Night is falling, dreams are calling To sail away, sail away home Sail away home, sail away home Our time has ended, no more shall we roam Night is falling, dreams are calling To sail away, sail away home
